Our Philosophy

When it comes to your comfort, safety or wellbeing we got you!

A Massage Wellbeing Wellness Centre treatment or session should make you feel good and communication with your therapist/assistant is key.

Your First Appointment

We strive to make your first massage, treatment or coaching a pleasurable event whether you are seeking pain relief, relaxation/stress reduction, general health, wellness or busines concerns.

Parking is our only problem, however when you have a business in a location like ours it is worth the inconvenience.

There are a few options which include parking on Jarda Street opposite number 8 or 10. You can also park at our house and we have 2 parks at our garage level. Furthermore, can also park at the top of our driveway, however we would prefer you to drive down.

Before Your Appointment

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment time. If it is your first time using the Hyperbaric Chamber, then 30 minutes is required prior to your first session. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted and asked to fill out a customer intake form. This form is where you record your contact information, past/present injuries and other physical conditions we should be made aware of. This step is very important and a legal requirement, so it’s best to arrive early to give yourself enough time to focus on you. You can also complete the form prior to attending by CLICKING HERE. This will speed up the process however time is still needed to discuss any issues or preferences.

Your therapist/assistant will review the intake form with you once completed. They will inquire about the reasons you are coming in for a treatment, your current physical condition and any specific areas in which you are experiencing pain or would like to address during your specific treatment. This will help determine the type of treatment and length if session that best fits your need.

Your therapist/assistant will then take you to a private treatment room or show you to the sauna or hyperbaric chamber.

Massage Treatment

If you’re just having a massage your therapist will explain the clothing requirements, leave the room and wait outside while you disrobe to your level of comfort. Remember to remove all jewellery and will be supplied a basket to place all your items in. This can be placed under the massage table and will always stay in the massage room.

Once disrobed, you will lie on the massage table, under the top sheet and blanket. The therapist will knock on the door before entering the room. They will ensure that you are well covered and adjust the room temperature after consulting you.

During Your Massage

You will always be draped with the sheet during your massage session. The massage therapist will only uncover the part of the body they are working on, ensuring that your modesty is respected at all times. For most techniques, the therapist will use lotion or cream. If you have any allergies to nuts or oils, please let the therapist know.

We strive to provide a relaxing and therapeutic experience during your massage. The massage table is padded and clean fresh sheets are always used. The room is air conditioned which you can have adjusted to your preference. There is always soft music and dim lighting to enhance the relaxing experience and if you have a music preference just let us know.

Communicate with the therapist about anything that is uncomfortable: such as too much pressure, pain, cold room, hot stone table is too warm, etc. Do not feel obligated to carry on a conversation while getting a massage – you are free to talk or not during a massage. You can tell your massage therapist that you’d like more or less pressure, what areas you’d like to target, what might be causing you discomfort, and more. Your feedback will help them deliver the best experience possible.

After Your Massage

At the end of the session, the therapist will leave the room. Get up from the table slowly and get dressed. If you have requested a shower you can make way to the shower area.

When you are ready you can make your way to the reception area where either cold water or ginger tea will be provided. At this time the therapist will do a debrief and arrange for payment ti be finalised if not already completed.

After your massage we encourage you to drink plenty of water. Refrain from vigorous exercise for 24 hours, unless your massage is designed for a pre-determined sporting event. Proper stretching is helpful in maintaining the increased flexibility that you will experience after your massage.

Some people may be a little sore after their massage, especially if it is your first massage in a while. The soreness is similar to exercise soreness and will usually subside in a day. We trust that you will find the increased relaxation, reduced muscular pain and improved ease of movement will make your massage session a wonderful enhancement to your physical health.
