Massage Wellbeing massage Oils are all made by us in Australia using the best carrier oils and essential oils. Our carrier oil which is mainly coconut is sourced from Thailand, the land of coconut oil. Many of our essential oils are also sourced from Thailand but we blend everything here.

Most other massage shop just purchase commercially produced low quality products. At Massage Wellbeing we only use top grade Carrier and Essential Oils.

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender would have to be one of the most popular essential oils on the market. There is a good reason for this as it smells great and is an effective stress-relieving oil.

The Lavender name stems from the Latin word lavera. The meaning of Lavera is to wash.  In addition to stress-relieving properties, Lavender has many healing qualities against colds, flu and migraines.

Aromatherapy Uses: In addition to stress-relief, Lavender has many therapeutic properties: antiseptic, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory properties, decongestant, deodorant, diuretic and sedative. It is also used in conjunction with other essentials oils to products effective natural mosquito repellents.

Lemongrass Essential Oil

Lemongrass or Cymbopogon is a genus of about 45 species of grasses and is native to warm and tropical regions such as Thailand. It comes with different common names but they all refer to the same thing, Cymbopogon. It is sometimes called barbed wire grass or citronella grass amongst other names and is grown abundantly. 

Lemongrass is cultivated also for its fragrance and is commonly used for perfumes and other products that require scenting.  Lemongrass does not flower but it’s the leaves that are processed and being used for various different purposes. Lemongrass leaves grow up to a metre, is easy to harvest and the dark yellow or amber oil is extracted through steam distillation from dried lemon grass.

Aromatherapy Uses: The health benefits of lemongrass essential oil are antiseptic, anti-rheumatic, diuretic, anti-inflammatory, astringent, analgesic, sedative, galactogogue, tonic, carminative, antimicrobial, antidepressant, febrifuge, bactericidal, fungicidal, deodorant, antipyretic and nervine.

In aromatherapy Lemongrass is one of the best essential oils and aromatherapy oils because of its fresh citrus fragrance.

The scent of lemongrass also has an effect to the human senses in helping you calm down and relieves your stress and even insomnia.  Just a few drops of lemongrass oil in an aromatherapy diffuser and you can easily get a good night sleep.

Calming Essential Oil

Calming Essential Oil is a blend of Lavender and Blue Chamomile Essential Oils. With this type of Aromatherapy Massage you age getting the benefits of two types of essential oils.

Massage Wellbeing blends it's own Calming Essential Oil so is unique to us as a massage oil. You will find it difficult to access this type of Aromatherapy Massage anywhere else. We also know that you will like it so much, we also have a range of products in the fragrance.

Aromatherpy Uses: Calming has so many benefits because of the unique blending. it offers stress relief and a very calming effect hence the name. Blue Chamomile Essential Oil is known for it's superb calming and soothing therapeutic benefits and can aid with irritability and depression.

Coconut Oil

When we use a coconut oil that is what you are getting. Structurally, coconut oil is taken from coconut kernels. It's tasteless and colourless, and is available in refined and unrefined processes.

Our coconut massage oil is not a blend of cheaper or synthetic oils just refined coconut. Other massage centres will use cheap blended oils with a coconut essential oil or worse still a chemical based fragrance.

You will also find with our coconut oil that it is absorbed into the skin and you wont leave our spa oily and greasy. Because this is our business and we don't just employee anybody we can get, we make sure that all of the products we use works well for the masseuse and also the customers.

Aromatherapy Uses: While the coconut fragrance itself does not have many aromatherapy benefits as such, it is known to relax and calm the mind. There are not many people who don't like this beautiful fragrance and we also find that people with allergies have no problems with the coconut fragrance.

With respect to the benefits to the skin, coconut oil  is one of natures beauty wonders. This wonderful oil can rid bacteria that causes acne, is an ultimate moisturiser and can tackle other skin problems like eczema.

Sandalwood Essential Oil

Sandalwood Essential Oil is a versatile oil and has a woody, sweet, exotic scent. A warming fragrance, sandalwood can transport you to a meditative space. Sandalwood oil has also been shown to boost the immune system. it also can calm down an irritated throat and may help with someone with a urinary tract infection. It is great in skincare products so works well with coconut oil and is widely used to nourish and hydrate dry skin.

Aromatherapy Uses: The benefits are known to be a calming, grounding and soothing effect. The breathing in of the fragrance may also assist with respiratory conditions. The use with coconut carrier oil adds to adding additional moisture to dry skin.

Peaceful Sleep Essential Oil

Peaceful Sleep Essential Oil is another signature fragrance blended by Massage Wellbeing. It is a blend of Lavender, lime and Mandarin giving it a very unique fragrance. This beautiful combination offers a range of both beneficial and also medicinal properties as well.

Aromatherapy Uses: Lavender has natural anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties. Great for treating burns, scalds, acne, athlete's foot, insect bites and in wound care. Both soothing and sedative, it helps in mood swings and headaches and is very calming; aids in restoring balance to the body and spirit. Lime is uplifting and energising and also has antiviral and disinfectant abilities. Additionally can help clear the sinuses may also be useful for lymphatic congestion and water retention. Great for oily skin, can be used for cleaning surfaces and diffused to prevent cold and flu pathogens from spreading in the air. Mandarin relieves insomnia as it aids in calming and detoxifying the body.
